Chem-E-Car

The Chem-E-Car Competition is based on the design and construction of a prototype car powered by chemical energy. Such a vehicle must travel a certain distance (15 to 30 meters) safely and stop at the determined mark. The competition includes a project presentation and safety inspection stage and a performance stage for the developed prototype. ​ The challenge, in addition to vehicle development, is that the specifications mentioned above are only informed to the competitors at the time of the competition, leaving it to the students to know how to control the variables used in order to meet the criteria.
