For the third year of the AIChE FEI, the face-to-face return of the chapter was imminent. Because of that, the team planned differently for this year, holding a meeting with all the directors to brainstorm.

The second half of 2021 was very busy due to the gradual return of activities on the campus of Centro Universitário FEI. Because of this, several plans were made to be applied at the university, such as trips to needy day care centers, the famous Solidarity Christmas and the regional and world competitions of the AIChE.
The Brazil Student Regional Conference was held virtually due to COVID-19 but reached over 500 people! With lectures and competitions, the AIChE FEI stood out with 1st place in the Chem-e-Car Poster and Performance Competition and 1st place in the Poster Competition. With these results we were invited to participate in the 2021 Annual Student Conference, but due to US government restrictions we participated online, obtaining 1st place in the Chem-E-Car Poster Competition (Virtual) and 3rd place in the Chem-E-Car Performance Competition (Virtual).
Projects felt more challenged by acting virtually but didn't let that become an obstacle. In addition to several awareness posts, lives and webinars developed, the team also developed two far-reaching projects, called Solidarity Christmas and Solidarity Easter. Using the commemorative dates, the team raised money with raffles and distributed gifts and basic food baskets to needy people. Day care visits and K-12 video development were not lacking either, and going to schools to stimulate the topic of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in school students was also done!
In the first half of 2022, face-to-face classes returned 100% at Centro Universitário FEI, giving a first taste of what it would be like to participate in projects and face-to-face classes simultaneously. Even so, the team developed several projects, such as going to day care centers and developing two teams in the Chem-E-Car instead of just one.
The first Open Doors FEI was also held since the beginning of the pandemic, an event in which the university invites students from schools to come and meet the university. In 2022, more than 2000 people came, where the AIChE FEI distributed lettuce seeds and fertilized land, teaching about sustainability and how to care. In addition, K-12 was introduced to students with a demonstration of iodine and potassium permanganate clocks.
